I’ve been trying to use coupons/deals again and it’s been working great so far. Yesterday I went by Kroger for their 4/$10 deal on Healthy Choice Frozen meals. I had a $1/2 coupon and two rang up for $2.29 instead of $2.50. Kroger also have you an instant refund of $3 for each deal. I bought 2 deals = 8 meals. Here is the calculations: (hope I think straight while I figure this out.)
8 meals for $19.58
– $1 coupon
– 2 instant $3 off = $6
Total $12.58 making the meals $1.57 each
Then I bought 3 packages of Yo-Plus Yogurt for $2.39. Each package has 4 yogurts. Then I used 2 $1 coupons Click Here. Making it $5.17. Click Here for a rebate form and get it FREE. It even looks like I will get a refund BEFORE the coupon since the coupon on the receipt doesn’t say what it is for – so the $2 is money back and pays for taxes. Thanks to My Good Cents for sharing this deal!
Granola bars (10 count) were on sale BOGO Free making them .20 a bar. So for $1.77 we have lunch!
Thanks to all the blogs out there who have really inspired me to do this type of shopping. My dad is really good at this type of shopping – making list on sales, coupons, rebates, etc. I hope to keep it up!
